Pastor Brad Beckman was born on August 25, 1961 to Jim and Mary Ann Beckman. He and his family come to us from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Pastor B, as he prefers to be called, was raised in San Antonio, TX. He graduated in 1984 from Concordia University in Austin, TX. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in 1992. Upon graduation, he served a nine month CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) chaplaincy internship at Lacelede Groves retirement community in St. Louis. His first call in 1993 was also in St. Louis to Messiah Lutheran Church & School. He then accepted a call in 2000 to serve Grace Lutheran Church & School in Arlington, Texas.
In their spare time, Pastor B and Joni (from Trinity Lutheran in Grand Island) enjoy time with each other (weekly date night) and with family, Austin (18), Gussie (9) and Zach (7). They like to jog, have fun with their dogs, Moses & Shelby, and also play and watch sports.
The Beckmans live at 6749 Wildrye Road, Lincoln, Nebraska 68521. We welcome them to Faith Lutheran Church and School.
