Education Background:
Attended Wayne State College; graduated with B.S.
in Elementary Education from UNL. Attended many hours of seminars,
workshops, and college classes to enhance my teaching---but do not have an
advanced degree.
Work Experience:
Taught 2nd Grade in South Sioux City Nebraska one
year---then went back to finish college education at UNL. Taught 2nd
Grade and Kindergarten in Fremont Nebraska after my marriage to Ron. I
then "retired" to be a stay-at-home mom for a number of years, doing
substitute teaching whenever the opportunity arose.
After moving to Yuma Colorado in 1976, I taught a K - 2 combination
classroom in the small community of Eckley, CO. for a couple years before
moving "up" to teach 1st Grade in Yuma for the next 17 years.
We moved to Lincoln, NE in the summer of 1993, and became members of Faith
at that time. I began my career at Faith teaching a 3rd - 4th Grade
combination room for a few years. As enrollment increased, 3rd and 4th
Grade became self contained classrooms, and I was blessed to keep 3rd
Grade! This marks my 15th year of teaching here----one year at a time!

Children and their education---both academic and
spiritual.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Being able to share my faith every day at school.
Being able to work with some of the
finest people anywhere!
The main reward for me has been helping
children learn and grow in God's
Grace.
HOBBIES:
Reading, spectator sports (football, baseball, volleyball)
Husker Football, baseball, and Volleyball especially

Walking the trail behind my house
Bell Choir
Traveling to visit our children & grandchildren

HUSBAND Ron: owns and operates All Pro Landscaping
DAUGHTER Patti: Kdg teacher in a Christian school in
Murrieta, CA and volunteer
volleyball coach. Her husband John is a
Border Patrol Officer
GRANDDAUGHTERS: Amanda(14) and Sara (11)
SON Jason Director of Player Personnel for the
Philadelphia Eagles
Blair Financial analyst They live in
Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
FUN STUFF: I grew up on a farm north of Hooper, NE where both my dad and
grandfather were born. My great grandfather homesteaded there in 1867.
The farm is still owned by my mother.
I've lived in Oklahoma, Iowa, Colorado, but still like Nebraska best!
