Krista came to Faith Lutheran to teach fifth grade following her 1995 graduation from Concordia University - Seward. She writes that a visit to Concordia convinced her to enter the teaching program, and that prayer and family factors led to her accepting the call to Faith. Since then, she has been learning about the challenges of balancing school and family time, and about the rewards of her students' smiles. Krista moved to "team teaching" first grade in 2001. She participates in Faith's handbell choir, Love Circle, and in helping lead the children's Sign Choir. Activities away from school include sports and outdoor activities with her husband Jack, as well as helping with Habitat for Humanity. |
