On Your First Visit
We are a relaxed church with the best of what it means to have a solid foundation in a denominational history. You will find with Faith that what you see is what you get. When you arrive on campus, plan to enter through door #6.
We are a multi-generational church. So that means you will see folks of all ages. That also means you will see people dressed however they feel most comfortable. The bottom line: you can be yourself when you worship with us.
We are a resource in Lincoln for families. That means families with a mom and dad. That means single parent families. That means grandparents raising kids. Our nursery and mother’s rooms are open during services and have a live stream so you can stay connected to worship.
We love kids and have Sunday activities for children from birth through youth age. Sunday School is at 9:30 am. Our 10:30 am worship also offers “Children’s Church”. Visit our Children and Youth page for information on Sunday School, Children’s Church, Youth Group.
Being Lutheran is a great way to be a Christian. Our worship is a blend of the rich history of the Lutheran tradition and a laid back “come as you are” mentality. Our 8:00 am service is a traditional service built on the best of the 500 year old history of Evangelical Lutheranism. Our 10:30 am service is a more laid back approach to the traditions of Lutheran worship and led by our praise team “One Accord”. The 5:30 pm evening service is a worship service focused on prayer time. There is no better way to get ready for the start of a new week. You will see folks participating in worship in various ways, including texting the pastor any questions or comments they have during the sermon time.
After you have attended for a while
We think believing what Jesus taught is important, which means we think it is important that religious belief finds its way into everyday living. We emphasize both doctrine and a Christian lifestyle at Faith.
We offer entry level studies in Christian belief as well as new member classes. We think it is important that God led you to Faith and we want you to have a place in serving with us as we reach out to Lincoln.
Membership means there is an expectation of you. We want you to join us as we CONNECT others to Christ, EQUIP God’s people for service, SERVE Lincoln and beyond, and SEND new Christians out into the community with the purpose of lifting high the cross of Jesus Christ!
