Childrens & Youth Ministries

Raising kids is a big job, and we’re here to partner with parents and caregivers in the important work of teaching the Bible. We want kids to know who God is and how much He loves them! We share this message with kids of all ages in Sunday School, Children’s Church, Youth Group and other activities.

  • Sundays at 9:30 am

Infants and toddlers discover God’s love through play, exploration and music. This group meets in the nursery on the first floor, inside Touching Hearts.

  • Sundays at 9:30 am

Old and New Testament stories come to life for kids through skits, music, engaging lessons and hands-on activities. Classes are grouped by age and meet upstairs in the south school hallway.

  • Sundays during the 10:30 Worship Service

Kids ages 3 through 3rd grade are invited to come to Children’s Church while the sermon is preached. This fun and engaging space allows kids to wiggle, learn, and worship in their own way.  Kids will be dismissed by the Pastors to go to the Music Room with the adult leaders.

  • Sundays at 9:30-10:15 am

Every Sunday youth gather to learn and talk about the sermon lesson in a smaller group. This is a great time to not only meet with one another, but also to see the entire church worshiping. The youth are not separate from the rest of the church, just merely one area of ministry. This group meets in the Library-upstairs down the school hallway.

  • Wednesdays at 6:00 pm

As youth grow older, it is important for them to take ownership of their own faith. During confirmation they will learn about the basics of the Lutheran faith and will have the encouragement of not only the church, but also their parents. We want to adhere to Martin Luther’s words “As the head of the family should teach them in a simple way to his household”. Parents and youth will engage in conversations that will benefit everyone and their walk with Christ. This group meets in both the Commons and the Conference Room.
